3. Harambee Reader Interest Form

• If you would like to volunteer your time to reading to the scholars at the Renaissance West STEAM Academy, please complete this interest form.

Harambee is a Kiswahili word for “let’s pull together.” It is a high energy portion of the day (8:30-9:00 a.m.) where scholars participate in cheers and chants and a Harambee reader from the community comes in to read a book of their choice or a book the site staff has pre-selected for you if you prefer.
